The goal of this project wasn’t to completely reinvent the Central Coast Mariners’ crest, but to create a modernised version of the club’s existing visual identity. The redesign focuses on refining and enhancing the key elements that have defined the Mariners for over two decades — preserving their legacy while giving the identity a fresh, contemporary edge. Instead of removing or replacing recognisable features, the aim was to give them more life, ensuring the crest remains familiar to fans while aligning with modern design standards.

Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. The men’s first team competes in the A-League Men. The Mariners were founded in 2004 and are one of the eight original A-League teams.
